Nothing ever goes as planned and nothing is ever perfect. It also seems as though when the going gets tough, it just continues to get worse. I’ve really learned a lot about myself the past two weeks and for all that I’ve been dealing with, I hope it’s made me a stronger person.
With that said, it’s been a little tough on my mental health to not get out on the golf course. There’s something so peaceful and serene about being out with a golf club and the smell of dewy grass. It has helped me manage stress and anxiety, and it’s just become so engrained in my routine that it’s been a struggle not to have it in my life.
It’s definitely been rough not getting that clarity the last two weekends. So, instead I’ve turned to the backyard whenever I feel like I may be losing my swing. I grab an iron and head out to take a few controlled practice swings.
It’s not much, but better than nothing that’s for sure! I’m interested to know: When you don’t have time to get out to the range or course, what do you do to practice your golf swing?
